Kirk Cameron: CONNECT

Kirk Cameron’s new film is about “real help for parenting kids in a social media world.” We thought this would be a great resource for parents as teenagers are increasingly spending more and more time on social media.

The movie will only shown for two days (February 27th and March 1st) and at limited locations. Check out the link below for more info and to watch the trailer.

If this is something that you and your family struggle with, we encourage you to see this film.

Life Groups

Life Groups copy

This Sunday, RSM is relaunching Life Groups!  In 2018 RSM’s theme is DEEPER, and so we are changing our Life Groups format to fit that theme.  We are wanting to go DEEPER in our faith through powerful Bible study that is going to take place in a classroom setting.  Because Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers learn differently, we have decided that it would be best to split these two groups into two classes.

Starting this Sunday at 5:00pm RSM Life Groups will gather in the youth chapel for dinner and then split off into their two groups for a time of study lasting until 6:30pm.  The Middle School group will be learning how to live a Christ centered life, and the High School group will be learning to study the Bible for themselves by learning the art and science of biblical interpretation.

Join us this week for Life Groups!

Happy Valentine’s Day RSM !

It is tonight!  We are having a special RSM service tonight from 7-9p with special guest speaker our Ohio District Youth Director Pastor Nate Ortiz!  We also have 50 pounds of colored powder for a color war after service!  You are not going to want to miss out on this incredible evening!  Come on out and bring someone who has never been to RSM before so that they can share in this experience!

Car Wash

Car Wash

This Monday July 10th RSM is having a car wash at Chick-fil-a.  This is a donation only car wash where all the proceeds will be going to Speed-The-Light!  The car wash lasts from 2-6pm.  If your student plans on staying the entire time, we highly encourage that they bring some money for dinner at Chick-fil-a.  After the car wash, we will be heading over to Headlands Beach for a very special MASH at the beach 6:30-8:30pm!  Plan on wearing clothes that can get wet, and bring a towel!  We only have room for 10 on the church van to make the trip from Chick-fil-a to Headlands so we are taking the first 10 to turn in a completed permission slip so get those in asap otherwise you will have to find your own transportation from Chick-fil-a to the beach.  There will be no transportation provided to Chick-fil-a or from Headlands.  Please pick up your students at Headlands Beach at 8:30pm.  Thank you!
